Come live in a village for a few days…

Away from the hustle-bustle of tourist destinations, at the end of a bumpy road, is a small Himachali village called Gunehar. Beyond this is a stream and an old trek into Himalaya interiors where the phone does not work and you can’t have a meal in a ‘dhaba’. In summer, numerous little vibrantly colored flowers creep out of the ground, keeping their heads low. In winter, hard ice covers it all. In summer, you can walk through. In winter, even the local shepherds don’t attempt these paths.
